Ewan Carr is based in Christchurch and has a long history in sustainable design and building. Having built a number of stone, stabilised earth and structural straw bale buildings, including the Danseys Pass Coach Inn, Ewan has developed a great appreciation for natural building methods and materials.

Originally form Central Otago Ewan has a deep understanding of building in the south island's unique climates and knows how to get the best out of challenging sites and locations.
