ebode limited was formed in 2007 to provide a trusted source of homes for New Zealanders who want to live in a healthy, sustainable way.

At the heart of ebode is ebode studio - our team of architects and designers whose core values include using natural, sustainably sourced, local materials; a sense of craftsmanship and elegance; and a strong focus on good design to provide human comfort in a sustainable way. The ebode team works with carefully selected product suppliers and builders to ensure that every ebode is created in a way that maximises the benefits of efficiency and technology while minimising toxins and waste - both during construction and over the life of the home.

The directors of ebode are Niel and Jette de Jong - who originally developed a reputation for sustainable homes as directors of Heritage Design Group. At their own premises and with clients, they have been responsible for 'recycling' many early 20th Century homes to make them sustainable into the future.

ebode was founded as a response to requests for sustainable new homes from clients who wanted a company with shared values and a reputation for 'walking the talk' to take care of the design and construction of their new home from start to finish. ebode is only involved in residential housing work, and only provides truly sustainable homes.

ebode has a head office in Auckland, with agents, construction partners and suppliers all over New Zealand.
